Terms and conditions

These terms apply to supply of goods by S&K Group Holdings Ltd, company number 16703925.

1. Sizes on supply-only orders

On a supply-only order the dimensions supplied by the customer are the customer's responsibility. Goods manufactured to the sizes given are correct even if those sizes turn out to be wrong for the opening. Where we survey, the sizes are ours.

2. Made-to-measure goods

Goods made to the customer's specification are bespoke. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to made-to-measure goods once manufacture has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality.

3. Lead times

Lead times quoted are estimates in working days for standard products in standard finishes. Special colours, made-to-measure joinery and specified hardware take longer and a firm date is given before payment. We are not liable for consequential loss arising from delay, including labour booked in anticipation of delivery.

4. Delivery

Delivery is kerbside unless otherwise agreed. Someone must be present to receive and check the goods. Damage must be noted on the delivery paperwork and reported within 48 hours.

5. Installation

Where installation is ordered it is a separate service, separately priced and separately scheduled.

6. Building regulations

On supply-only orders the customer is responsible for any notification to building control. No competent person scheme certificate is issued on supply-only orders.

7. Warranty

Goods carry the manufacturer's warranty stated on the order. Warranty does not cover damage from incorrect installation, which on supply-only orders is outside our control.

8. Payment and title

Goods remain our property until paid for in full.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

These are our standard terms. The order acknowledgement you receive is the contract document and takes precedence where it differs.
