Bi-fold doors — supply only, delivered in about a week
Aluminium bi-fold doors, supplied only, delivered in about a week.

The configuration notation tells you where the panes go and where the traffic door is. A 3-pane written 2-1 stacks two panes left and one right; written 3-0 all three go left. The traffic door is the single leaf you use day to day without folding anything back — order one unless you have a second door into the garden, or you will be folding the whole stack to take the bins out.

How buying supply only works
- 1
Send your sizes
Structural opening width and height, and a photo if you have one. No survey, no appointment, no salesperson at your kitchen table.
- 2
We price it and confirm
A written price with the specification on it, and a real delivery date. If something in your measurements does not add up, we query it before anything is cut.
- 3
We build it
Made to your sizes in our standard range. Standard colours are what hold the one-week turnaround.
- 4
Delivered — or fitted
Delivered to your address or collected from Birmingham. If you want it fitted, that is booked separately and priced on the same quote.
Bi-fold doors — questions we get asked
Bi-fold or sliding door?
Bi-fold if you want the wall genuinely open in summer. Slider if you care more about the view when they are shut, because a slider has far less frame in your sightline. Neither is better — they solve different problems.
What does 3-0 or 2-1 mean?
It is where the panes stack. 3-0 folds all three panes to one side. 2-1 puts two on one side and one on the other. The first number is the left-hand stack as you look at the doors from outside.
Do I need a traffic door?
Almost certainly. Without one, opening the door at all means folding the whole stack back. With one, you have a normal single door for everyday use and fold the rest only when you want to.
Can bi-folds be fitted without a structural opening being altered?
Only if the existing opening is already wide enough and the lintel is adequate. Widening an opening is structural work needing a calculated lintel and building control — that is separate from the door order and we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
Is the one-week lead time realistic on a bi-fold?
For standard colours and standard configurations, yes. A non-standard RAL or a dual colour finish adds powder-coating time and we will tell you the real date before you order.
