Installation, if you want it
Everything on this site can be bought supply only. Everything on this site can also be fitted. The difference is that we show you fitting as its own line rather than burying it in the product price.
Why we price it separately
Because it lets you make a real decision. If you have a builder on site already, paying us to fit is money wasted. If you are replacing a single front door on a Victorian house with a suspect sub-frame, it is money well spent. You cannot judge that when the two are bundled into one number.
What fitting includes
- Survey of the opening before manufacture, so the sizes are ours and so is the risk
- Removal and disposal of the existing unit
- Fitting, packing, levelling, sealing and making good
- Certification of the work
Timing
The product still arrives on the supply lead time. The fitting date depends on our diary and your area, and it is a separate conversation — we will give you a real date rather than quoting a week and quietly meaning something else.
Certification
If we install, we certify, and the paperwork follows. On a supply-only order there is no registered installer involved, so the notification is yours to make.
